SUMMARY: Channel Binding is a simple mechanical binding system that uses a metal U-channel built into a one piece cover. Among the benefits of this technology is that no punching or gluing is required. The document is reasonably secure, and many systems allow limited de-binding for editing documents.

Custom covers can be manufactured to your specifications and covers can be decorated using hot foil stamping, offset, silk screening and embossing.

Document Thickness: Depending on the machine you are using, a channel binding system can bind from 150 to 300 sheets.

Production Speed: Typical binding speed is 4 per minute or 240 per hour.
