Description
Heat-activated mounting boards are rigid backings coated with a heat-activated adhesive that becomes tacky when exposed to high temperatures. They’re commonly used in framing and photography to securely bond prints, posters, or artwork to a sturdy surface without bubbles or wrinkles. To use them, the item to be mounted is placed on the board and pressed using a heated press or laminator, activating the adhesive and creating a permanent bond.
