The RENZ Punch 500 ES is a professional high-performance punching machine designed for a wide range of binding applications. With a punching width of 500 mm and an impressive punching capacity of up to 4.0 mm thickness, it can easily handle even the toughest materials. The machine operates at high speed, punching up to 36,000 sheets per hour, making it one of the most productive machines in its class. It offers exceptional flexibility with optional punching dies available in various pitches and hole patterns, suitable for all common binding styles such as wire, plastic coil, comb binding, and calendar production. With the innovative QSA (Quick Size Adjustment) technology, formats can be quickly and easily adjusted by deactivating individual punch pins – without having to remove the tool. This unique technology enables punching of different hole patterns and special formats, ensuring efficient fulfillment of production requirements. The integrated micro-switch automatically triggers the punching cycle, but alternatively, the punching process can also be conveniently activated via a foot pedal. The horizontal paper loading system, combined with a large front table, provides extra comfort and stability during the punching process. With high speed and flexibility, the RENZ Punch 500 ES addresses common challenges in punching production. It handles material thicknesses that are problematic for other machines, and can punch through thick envelopes or specialty papers. The machine can also handle coated materials and films with ease. Additionally, irregular, oversized, or special formats can be processed without difficulty, a task often challenging for other automatic punching machines.
